Gaugrés is a nucleus of the municipality of Avià (Berguedà), originated in an old agricultural colony. In 2014 this nucleus had 163 inhabitants. The name comes from the farmhouse currently known as Casavella de Graugés. The Rosals, a family of industrialists, built an agricultural company on this site with the colonia system, which they already knew quite well after having created the Rosal neighborhood.
