Callosa de Segura is a city and municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is located in the south of the province of Alicante, in the region of Vega Baja del Segura. It has a population of 18,625 inhabitants. The city is located 16 meters above sea level.

Callosa de Segura is characterized by having a very varied and efficient accessibility, with modern communications. It is located at a strategic point, not only because of its proximity to cities with a tourist tradition, but also because it has good communication routes with the most important cities in the neighboring provinces of Murcia and Alicante.

Road access to the city can be done basically by several routes: taking the A7 Mediterranean motorway (Granja de Rocamora exit), through the N-340 road and with the one that gives access to the city, the CV 900. Others Communication axes are the CV-311 through Rafal and the CV-313 through Catral.

With regard to traveling by bus, there are several companies that offer a regular and daily service, which connects with the cities of Alicante, Murcia and Torrevieja, as well as with the rest of the municipalities in its path.

In addition, it has an urban bus line that allows connecting different points of the city, and can also make use of the taxi service.

As far as transport by train is concerned, the city has a suburban station, being one of the most used means of transport by the citizens of the municipality. This puts Callosa in communication with Alicante and Murcia in a series of daily services. It is an important connection hub with the aforementioned cities.

The closest airport to Callosa de Segura is Alicante-Elche, with connections from the main European cities.
