Felanitx is a quiet town on the south-east coast of Mallorca, not far from the towns of Santanyi, Campos and Manacor.
The town of the same name is located in a dreamlike setting west at the foot of the mountain "Sant Salvador". The harbor village Portocolom, which belongs to the municipality, is worth mentioning. The bay of Portcolom with bathing possibilities is only about 15 km away and can be reached in about 15 minutes.
The entire eastern part of the island is especially known for its beautiful beaches and bathing bays with well-kept sandy beaches. These are awarded with the European Blue Flag for good bathing water.
