Felanitx is situated approx. 50 km from Palma and it’s not far from the sea, you have Porto Colom, Porto Petro & Cala D’or close by. It has a lively international community with many restaurants, shops and bars to choose from. Major attractions such as the monastery of San Salvador dates back to 1348. Its built on the highest points of Mallorca and from here you have fantastic views of the Majorcan countryside. To move around this beautiful area, biking and hiking are popular options. Wine production in this area is very prominent. There are a selection of vineyards and wine cellars that can be visited by the public. The local market is celebrated every Sunday morning.
