Esporles is a municipality of the island of Majorca situated in the area of the Tramuntana Mountain Range. It is to be found at a distance of about 15 kilometres from Palma, the capital city. The village is divided into the ´Vilavella´ and the ´Vilanova´ (older and newer part). The economy was originally based on agriculture and livestock, which can be seen its farm museum ´Sa Granja´.
