Alaró, a beautiful village at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana, offers tranquillity without leaving aside the services such as petrol station, chemists, restaurants, supermarkets etc. as well as a beautiful weekly market on Saturdays in the main square of the village and thanks to the location it is a perfect village for excursions. The oldest part of the village, called Los Damunts, offers a maze of picturesque cobbled streets with beautiful stone houses and the main square Cabrit i Bassa. Famous for its mountain called Castillo de Alaró, a visit to the restaurant Es Verger in the middle of the mountain is a must.
