It is worth mentioning that the house is completely sheltered from the north wind, the tramuntana, which can be very intense in this area of the Empordà. The house has been completely refurbished in 2021. Its architecture and finishes respect the style of the old Empordà farmhouses, with exposed stone exteriors and ceilings with exposed beams. Noble materials have been used throughout the renovation: lime mortar on the walls, plaster and sand or solid wood floors, waterproof iron carpentry, water-based paint. The renovation has made it possible to provide features that traditional houses lack: the comfort of modern facilities, an extraordinary luminosity and an extraordinary spaciousness.
