From the beach and the hill you can see the island of Tabarca, which is also known as pirate island and is an extremely beautiful place to visit. Around the island there is a great marine life and many people come here to snorkel or dive.

Gran Alacant is only 10 minutes by car from the airport and the beautiful city of Alicante. If you drive 15 minutes to the west, you will find the city of Elche, which largely lives off the large shoe production.

Near Gran Alacant you will also find a large selection of popular golf clubs and golf courses.

There is also a local bus that takes you to the beach, Santa Pola, Alicante and Elche.
