To reserve the property it will be necessary to pay a down payment of one month's deposit (to be returned within legal deadlines, after having delivered the property to the owner, as long as the condition of the property is the same as at the time of delivery to the tenant and that the conditions of the rental contract are met)
Law 12/2023, of 24 May, on the right to housing, approved in Congress on 27 April 2023, and in the Senate on 18 May, which has been in force since the day after its inclusion in the BOE, on 26 May 2023, provides in Section 1 of Article 20 that in the case of housing lease contracts 'property management expenses and of formalisation of the contract will be borne by the lessor'.
